Although I am a relatively keen (albeit not overly fast!) runner, 13 miles is never easy. All the same I will grace the North East streets with my delicate step in an attempt to make a difference to this great cause. My training has been going well and I've even managed to curb my 'Mickey Finn' intake to enhance my performance ;-).

After my London marathon experience in 2010, going back to my roots for more of a 'fun run' is much more exciting.
