Story
We live in a small close knit village, just south of Bath, and everyone is doing their bit.
My family was very frustrated that neither our windows or my art studio face the road, so we couldnt put rainbow pictures up.
So my contribution (as an artist) was to spontaneously paint our very old gate with rainbow colours to bring a smile to people's faces.
In under 24 hours I've had 100's messages of good cheer, and thumbs up from passing ambulance, police, recycling and posties etc - so I got to thinking....why not try and raise a little money at the same time.
NHS staff and volunteers are doing amazing work right now in caring for COVID-19 patients. So together, let's show our respect and gratitude as they work tirelessly in the face of the virus. It's our turn to make sure we look after them, to ensure they can keep doing their vital work.
So if our gate brings a smile to your face, how about gifting a little money to help our blooming amazing NHS who are coping with the horror of it all.
Love Emma
ps. thank you to our long suffering neighbours.
