Story

I'm part of a group of friends doing the Great North Swim in Lake Windermere on June 16th to raise money for Glencoe Mountain Rescue Team. In January, they came to help a group of people, including some of my closest friends, who were killed or seriously injured in an avalanche whilst doing what they adored - enjoying the wilderness.

Glencoe Mountain Rescue Team were amazing that day. They work all year round as volunteers, helping other people like our beautiful friends who have got into difficulty in the beautiful outdoors. We want to help them to help other people too.

We miss our friends so very much but their sense of adventure and fun is most certainly living on - please support in any way you can.

If anyone can inspire me to swim for a mile in a cold lake then it would have to be Una!

Thank you. Emma xxxx
