Warning - shocking statistics...

One in six 5-19 year olds have a mental health problem.

24% of 17 year olds have reported to have self harmed.

9k die from alcohol causes & 4.5k from drug poisoning.

600 10-24 year olds take their own lives every year.

1.8k 10-19 years olds are in hospitalised due to eating disorders.

I don't know about you but I'm not prepared to sit around and do nothing!

Respect ME has 7 teams in 4 countries and we are growing every year. Last year the NW team did 105 days in high schools, that's 5 months of continuous teaching, informing, equipping and encouraging young people to make great choices as they navigate through the tough topics of today. We have a message of value, worth and hope as Christians and desire that when a young person knows how loved accepted and valued they are, they won't have to be one of these statistics.

On Thursday 1st December in The Mess Cafe (between 11am - 2pm) I will be having words like suicide, bulimia, cutting, anorexia, alcohol abuse tattooed on my body. We will film the process to make an informative video to play in schools to raise awareness and speak hope.
