Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Ok, i know its hard to believe but, yes, i have decided to get off my backside and cycle for 80k per day for four days from London to Paris.  I have chosen this charity because i feel ones such as this can be ignored and the threat of corruption and greed in these countries is very real and needs to be highlighted.

From preventing chronic health impacts associated with pesticide poisoning by securing national and global bans on the most toxic pesticides, to protecting our oceans and the communities that most depend on them, from illegal pirate fishing - and a huge amount in the middle for climate refugees, shrimp and cotton production...they do a big job with little money and so they really need our support.

For some this is no big feat but i have been training extremely hard to get to the level of fitness necessary to complete this challenge without wiping out!  It is a very worthwhile cause and that alone will make up for the inevitable blisters and aching bum!  Please put your hand in your pocket, anything will go a long way........

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

About the charity

EJF works in some of the world's most difficult and remote countries to protect vulnerable communities, wildlife and wild places. Our campaigns have led to action on forced labour and human trafficking, national and global bans on deadly pesticides and arrests of illegal 'pirate' fishing trawlers.
