Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Lockdown has been very difficult for many people, for me personally it's been a hell of a ride. I couldn't cope with the change of routine, the fear and anxiety that came with covid, my mum and brother getting sick. The anxiety took over, I stopped sleeping and eating, I didnt want to go outside even after lockdown ended, I don't want to be near to people or for people to touch me. I worry about little things and big things, I worry about my mum or brother dying and being left alone. At one point things got so bad I had a nervous breakdown and the doctor gave me pills to make my anxiety better. They didn't make me anxiety better, they made me sick. What made me start to feel better was help from agencies like young minds that offer support to children and their parents. So I am doing this ride for two reasons. Firstly to raise money and awareness so they can help more kids like me. Secondly as a personal challenge to push me to go outside more. I will be cycling a complete leg of the tour de France (250miles) between now and the end of August. I would appreciate any support you can give me.
