Story
As you probably know, I love running, and I was delighted to get a place in the London Marathon in April 2020. Then the world changed and the marathon was cancelled and rescheduled twice... and is now taking place on 3rd October. I have trained hard and it's going to be a challenge, that's for sure, but I am 100% raring to go!
I have chosen to raise money for the British Heart Foundation for personal reasons. The BHF's vision is simple: a world free from the fear of heart and circulatory diseases. A world without heartbreak.
When you donate, 76p of every £1 raised goes on life saving research.
This research transforms into machines that restart hearts, fix arteries in tiny babies, give someone a heart they weren’t born with, and fight the many heart and circulatory diseases that still kill 1 in 4 in the UK.
If you'd like to help me reach my fundraising goal, please donate here. It won't be spent on Costa coffee, I promise (it goes directly to BHF to be invested in research, a much better cause).
Heartfelt thanks!
