Each year Friends of the Cancer Centre funds life saving and life changing projects which make a real and positive difference to thousands of cancer patients and their families. The charity relies on donations from the public to be able to support these patients locally and across Northern Ireland.

Story

Emma Mc Cauley, Paula McElwee, Paul Cooke, Liabhron NiChaomhanaigh and Rosie O'Donnell are part of a team from the North West Cancer Centre at Altnagelvin Hospital, taking part in the Tower Museum Twilight Abseil in Derry on Saturday 8th October 2022 at 6.30pm, raising funds for 'Friends of the Cancer Centre’ to support local families impacted by cancer. 

This charity funds life-saving and life-changing projects that make a real and lasting difference to the lives of thousands of local people affected by cancer. Their work focuses on patient care, patient comfort and research. https://www.friendsofthecancercentre.com
