I never knew what bravery was until my close friend Meliz was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer, she is only 33 and has a 1 year old baby girl. She is one amazing human, with a heart of pure gold, when we first found out so many of us cried for her, I'm not the kind of girl to be strong enough to hold back tears unfortunately. She held our hand and told us she was going to be fine, I mean of course she is, she's the strongest girl we know. On 20th of April she starts her journey through chemo, this morning she rang me, I want to get rid of my hair before chemo does she said, help me. Right ok, how? I want to raise as much money for Cancer Research. Monday 17th of April we will be hosting a charity event for her, where she will have her hair shaved off to raise money for charity. Although this may not have been the party we hoped for, while we are all here we may aswell dance.
