I'm trekking on the Great Wall of China! I’m self-funding the actual challenge but hope to raise lots of funds for The Ectopic Pregnancy Trust. The five-day trek will see me trek along the magnificent structure over watchtowers, mountains and historic battlements and conquer the 1,000 steps up to the wall at Mutianyu – culminating with the ascent of the ‘Heavenly Ladder’. My final mission will be to help repair part of the wall at Badaling placing my own brick to help with the reconstruction.

The Ectopic Pregnancy Trust are a charity close to my heart and the website and information they provide helped me get the emergency surgery I needed. I would be thrilled to raise a decent amount to make sure their good work continues.

Ectopic Pregnancy is a common, life threatening condition that is the leading cause of death in early pregnancy. It affects 1 in 80 pregnancies in the UK and women who suffer have to face the physical trauma of major invasive treatment, their own mortality, the impact on their future fertility and the sad loss of losing their baby all very quickly.
