Story

As a parent of a happy and healthy 3 year old I'm always so grateful that our little lad arrived healthy and without complications but we are aware we are very lucky and not everyone is so fortunate. Please help me to raise some money for this very worthy cause:-

The Winnicott Foundation is an independent charity that aims to improve care for premature and critically ill newborn babies and their families. The charity supports the Imperial Neonatal Units at St Mary’s and Queen Charlotte’s Hospitals, raising funds and providing direct support to:

Help save the lives of premature and sick newborn babies

Support families to be with their babies

Enable babies to leave hospital sooner

Produce better long term futures for premature and sick babies

This is my second marathon after running Abingdon last year. I'm by no means a natural runner and my training this time has been a battle to keep moving forwards despite minor injuries (mostly to my left foot).  but i'm determined to see this through and cross the finish line - hopefully in around 4 hours 10mins.

Thanks for all your support.
