Story

Thanks for coming to this page to help me raise £300.

I've never run a half - marathon (20 kms or 13 miles), so its a big deal for me. I chose to run for Mayhew Animal Home as I have great compassion for animals and think they help us in ways we sometimes don't realize or appreciate. (even though Jazzy Jones (my dog) is kind of high maintenance most of the time.) Owning a pet has definitely made me a happier person.

Mayhew is a refuge for stray dogs, cats and rabbits that have been dis-owned or dumped as well as a low cost vet surgery which provides free/low cost neutering, microchipping and vaccinations. I personally think promoting people to be responsible pet owners is a really good cause.

I also wanted to run for a charity whom might be overlooked in favour of the bigger charities out there. you can see the work that Mayhew Animal Home do here: www.themayhew.org

You can even get your next dog or cat from there!

Heres the boring bit about how to donate - but you are really helping my charity out and me out! THANKYOU!!!!
