Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On 12 December 2012 I was seriously injured in a car accident. In March 2013 I came home from hospital in a wheelchair. With lots of physio and thanks to the support of my wonderful family and close friends I have learned to walk again. I graduated from the chair, through the XR3i of Zimmer Frames (furry dice, cup holder and all), to walking with a stick.
I wanted to set myself a challenge and contribute something to 2 causes close to my heart. Walking across the Kessock Bridge unaided will not be a breeze - acquired brain injury has left me with balance and co-ordination issues - but if it was going to be easy, it wouldn't be a challenge!
I have set up 2 pages, one here on JustGiving for Cantraybridge College and one on BT mydonate for Headway Highland, the Brain Injury Charity.
Needless to say, both charities could do with all the support you can provide. Feel free to chose one, or even better, donate to both. Thank you! :o)
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. So please dig deep and donate now.
