Story
We are two 17 year old students who volunteer part time for the RSPCA charity shop located in Wakefield, we would like to do more for the charity which we support and our first step to doing this is our sponsored sky dive which will be taking place late July/August.
The money we are raising will be going to the RSPCA Wakefield and Leeds branch which is scheduled to open late June and needs all the support it can get.
Here are few examples of what the money raised will go towards;
- £30 could help pay for animal rescues
- £60 could help fund RSPCA inspectors
- £100 could pay for veterinary and care treatment for an abused animal
- £120 could help prosecute people who neglected or abused animals
- £500 could fund two examination tables in the dog, cat and surgical ward
- £1000 could help pay vet bills including medicines for one week.
In total we must reach a goal of £800 minimum to take part in our sky dive if we are unable to do so the money donated will be given to the RSPCA anyway.
