I'm running the Hyde Park Jog with my sister on the 23/09/12 for the well being of my dad. He had a cardiac arrest outside a fire station at the beginning of this year. Thankfully the fireman on shift saw him collapse and rushed to his aid and started to resuscitate him and used their portable defibrilator on him to shock my dad's heart. He spent some time in intensive care and then weeks in Coronary care.After numerous heart investigations he has an internal defibrilator now fitted to his heart and is on medication. He has also since been diagnosed with a rare genetic disease, Fabry's Disease. So hopefully my contribution to the BHF research will not only help my family but others aswell. My dad is a walking miracle and if it wasn't for the BHF research he wouldn't be here today...Please help me in my efforts, thanks in anticipation...every penny counts.
