Prostate Cancer UK has a simple ambition - to stop men dying from prostate cancer. Through shifting the science over the next 10 years to focus on radical improvements in diagnosis, treatment, prevention, and support, we will stop prostate cancer being a killer.

Story

This year I am challenging myself to not just run a half marathon but to try and beat my previous time from 2008!

I raised a significant amount of money for the Eve Appeal in 2008, a charity that supports research into women’s' gynaecological cancers, in memory of my mum Jane.

This year, it’s the men’s turn to be supported and I am raising money for Prostate Cancer UK.

My family has been affected by both ovarian and prostate cancer.  I fully support the work these charities do in raising awareness of these diseases.  It is so important that everyone can identify symptoms early, get checked out and listened to, and if there are screening tests that can be taken, to ask for them knowing when and how you are eligible.

Thank everyone for your support!
