I honestly dont know how I got into this!!.....it started when my friend Aly said she wanted to do the London Marathon and i piped up that i wanted to aswell!!  We both wanted to do it for a worthwile charity and that why we chose CLIC SARGENT.....we have all been touched by cancer in some way so to help to raise money to find a cure and make childrens lives more comfortable as well as the thousands of people diagnosed with cancer every year!!

 

I seemed to have put on a lot of weight since opening my restaurant so this gave me a great incentive to lose the weight and also give up smoking which I have done for 10 weeks now!!........Aly who is my personal trainer and dearest friend is turning 50 next year so she wanted to do something to mark the occassion.....oh and what a better way to spend it running 26 miles with me who moans all the way at just doing 6 miles at the moment !!

 

I hope all my friends and readers of our column in the Coast2Coast Magazine will help us raise the 3000 that we are aiming for.....i know we are starting to raise money early but if everyone helps us no matter how big or small the donation we will all be making a big difference to somebodys life !!
