Polly and I are doing a sky dive on the 4th April 2012, as both a personal ambition, a celebration of my 21st birthday but also an opportunity to raise money for a good cause. Despite my extreme dislike for heights its something I have always wanted to do and thought it would be a good way to raise money for the Childrens Heart Unit Fund at Newcastles Freeman Hospital.
I will be paying for the skydive myself, so everything raised will go directly to the charity, every little helps! :)
My sister was a patient at this unit for the majority of her short life therefore this charity is very close to my heart, I would like to help any way I can so they can carry on their amazing work, they are always in need of donations whether its for a new heart machine or to help patients and their families to make their lives easier. They carry out vital work they  raise money to buy equipment, facilities, aftercare and research for the Children's Heart Unit and the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit at the Freeman Hospital.
