Campaign by Brain Tumour Research (RCN England and Wales 1153487, Scotland SC046840)
Wear A Hat Day takes place every March as the culmination of Brain Tumour Awareness Month. It one of the most celebrated and important brain tumour research awareness and fundraising days in the UK.

Story

Wear A Hat Day is one of the UK's biggest and most important brain tumour research fundraising and awareness-raising days. Wearing a hat or one of our specially designed hat-themed pin badges is a sign of support for Brain Tumour Research, our mission and all those living with, or lost to, a brain tumour.

For the fifth year running  I will be wearing a different hat every day in March.

It is now just over four years since Brian had his surgery to remove his brain tumour, this was followed by radiotherapy and chemotherapy.

Despite trying really hard to get back into his much loved profession the effects of surgery etc have meant he has had to stop working.

The diagnosis of a brain tumour changes lives forever and there is too little research into why this disease happens. Both adults and children suffer.

Please help to give hope to those who have or will be diagnosed and their families  by making a donation however small.

Every little helps

Thank you xx

Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer. Just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this disease. We are a leading voice calling for support and action for research into what is called the last battleground against cancer.
