I bicycled from London to Vallery in Burgundy France, 375 miles, departing on the 3rd of September this year, raising money for Sarcoma UK. The 6-day ride was wonderfully fun and challenging and raised £3,710.  I knew I had to stop as I cycled in to Vallery at 375 miles.  I was utterly exhausted and had done absolutely as much as I was able to, having been ill over the summer. So I didn't make the whole 623 miles to Geneva.  Thank you so much to everyone for their support.  

A sad loss lead to a positive and happy gain. 

After a short battle last summer my mother died from sarcoma, this little known cancer.  All money kindly donated will go directly to providing much-needed funds for sarcoma research and treatment.
