Emma Barnes's Dryathlon Page

Dryathlon · 1 January 2014 to 31 January 2014 ·
Cancer touches everyone's lives. I had an operation for Cervical Cancer in 2001. I've lost family to cancer. I have family still battling Cancer.
My inspiration for joining the Dryathlon is Bethan Evans. She's a little girl that has had a tough few years what with Operations/Cancer Treatment/losing her beautiful long hair/losing close friends to cancer (other children). That's more than enough for any child to go through.
This is my chance to give back. I've been alcohol dependent for many years. Weekly I would normally drink a minimum of 7 bottles of wine and 1 litre of white spirits. A whole month without alcohol is a really hard task for me and every day withdrawl symptoms are anxiety, leg pains, insomnia, headaches - all of which don't even compare to the symptoms Cancer Patients go through.
Please support me and help me raise £500 for Cancer Research. Every penny counts!
Thank you!
