Story
Squiffy’s human Nan got diagnosed with Parkinson’s a few years
ago. At first it was just a finger that tremored, then her hand…. As time went on Nan lost weight and became a shadow of her former self, she lost her muscle tone and had to give up her favourite pastime of gardening. Now 5 years on she is confined to a wheelchair owing to a fall which saw her having brain surgery. Squiffy loves to run, he’s inquisitive and very loving and so he thought the best way to help Nan was to take his super fast legs over a challenging (for his Mum!) walk. He decided Mum should start with the walk considered one of the less demanding as she wants to prove to herself that she can do it. Once theyhave completed Hadrians Wall, who knows what will be next!
