Story
I am running London marathon in a few weeks and hope to again raise some much needed funds for Sue Ryder Duchess of Kent hospice as I go. This wonderful hospice gave my mum the care and kindness she needed as she was nearing the end of her life in 2016, and she was very fond of her nurse and of the pretty & peaceful gardens that her room overlooked.
Even 5 years on it is still quite hard to believe my mum is no longer with us. She was very proud of my running and as London was her beloved home - town , being a part of this marathon is extra special to me. This year would also have been her 70th birthday and I will be thinking of her every step of the way.
If you are able to donate , even a couple of pounds, I and the Duchess of Kent would be very grateful. Thank you XXX
