Last year Alex and I ran the Cardiff Half Marathon and as true students have not done any running once the event ended. When Jacqui Grove was asking around for runners to join the group running to raise money for Josie’s Dragonfly we took the leap and signed up. Since then we have been travelling and have sadly been a bit lax in actually running/training. This therefore means this run will be an epic event and solidly for the next month both Alex and I are attempting to run every day in order that we get around the Great North Run Circuit. It would be amazing if any of you could spare some cash and sponsor our attempt to do the circuit without any major incident.

Josies Dragonfly is a small charity based in Hexham set up by Josie Grove before she died of cancer aged just 16.
