Story

A quick update, I ran the half-marathon in 2 hours 32 minutes and 15 seconds!

Thanks everyone for your support!!

In 2011 my wonderful dad, Ken Vail, was diagnosed with prostate cancer and secondary bone cancer. The disease progressed at an alarming rate and very sadly, my brilliant, patient, kind, inspirational dad died in January 2013.

This was a life changer for me, I decided I needed to try to get and stay fit and follow my ambition to become a runner to keep the weight off. So far I've lost 42lbs and have gradually built up my running and fitness levels. The Royal Parks Half Marathon is a way of proving I'm serious.

Please sponsor me to help support this very worthwhile cause.
