Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

The photo on the left shows Liv, Tess and Kate waiting for me to arrive at the finishing line of the Hastings Half I ran in March 2008 - it was a long wet morning for them but seeing their excited faces at the finishing line was a huge boost for me.  Sadly, my team of supporters won't be with me at the Great North Run in Newcastle on 20 September this year but I am hoping that the scale of the event will carry me through.  Certainly I will need something to supplement my rather sporadic training!

I need to raise £350 for 95.8 Capital FM's Help a London Child charity who have provided my place.  HALC provides financial assistance for projects to help London's less advantaged children and young people (see this link http://www.capitalradio.co.uk/charity/) and I would be really grateful if you felt able to help them by helping me to raise this sum.
