Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am doing this in memory of my mum Mo Cowan, who sadly passed away Thursday 4th June 2015, fighting a battle with pancreatic cancer.

She was the strongest person I know.

Sadly my mum never made it into their care, as she passed just before she was going to be transferred. However, she visited the hospice and told me all about how beautiful it was, and how kind and supportive the carers were. She planned to invite the family over for tea and cakes, so we could spend time together, just like a normal family would. I know she felt safe there.

I know my mum would be proud of me for doing this, as she would always be the first person to help fundraise for charities. She was such a selfless, kindhearted women, and I'm so grateful and proud to call her my mother.

I am doing this for my mum, as she deserves to be remembered as the wonderful women she was, and I will continue to make her proud. I love you mummy xxxxxxxx

I am actually doing this run, and I absolutely hate running, I literally never run anywhere, but I am willing to do so, just to raise money for this brilliant cause, and for my gorgeous mum!
