Welcome to my fundraising page for CoppaFeel!

This June I will set out on a challenging, extraordinary and life-changing trek, all in the name of checking chests! I will be taking on 100km of Pembrokeshire's rugged, unforgiving coastline in a bid to raise funds towards CoppaFeel's life-saving mission.

Coppafeel are, in my opinion, one of the best charities to grace the earth. Their message and their image is what all young people need, not to be stereotypical but especially the girlies! I remember finding their instagram account years ago and falling in love! Everything they stood for, everything they shared and their whole message just spoke to me - please help me to help them to continue to do that. 

Coppafeel isn’t just important to me because of their great instagram account. Their charity and all of the work I have done for them so far has allowed me to work with some amazing people with some touching stories, just confirming my belief about them being vital to our society. I also have my own story. When I was younger my grandma had breast cancer. Now at the time, due to being so young, I didn’t really understand what that meant for her. The older I got and the more I understood my body and began to check myself I realise how scary that time must have been for her - but how brave she was. She fought cancer and to this day she has found other things to fight - for example her bank account telling her to stop buying fabric!

I am one of the lucky ones and this is I know. I just want to give other people the chance to be as lucky as me. Coppafeel hope with their message that people will find their cancer earlier to give them a better chance of fighting and who wouldn’t want that? Let’s help them do it together.

They are on a mission to stamp out the late diagnosis of breast cancer by making sure that young people are regularly checking their boobs, pecs and chests and getting to know their bodies in order to have the confidence to see their GP if something just doesn't feel normal.
