We're raising money because more than 1 in 16 have diabetes just in the UK! In the UK alone, someone is diagnosed with diabetes every 2 minutes! As a sixth form, we are hoping to play our part and raise money for a wonderful cause, one that's close to our heart because our very own lovely Mrs Patten has Type 1 Diabetes and although she loves her pump, it doesn't go with every outfit!
