Fundraising for The Zoological Society of East Anglia - Banham Zoo & Africa Alive
Story
My name is Lauren and I mummy to 5 year old Elsie and at the start of lockdown she saw people raising money and said can we do that to? At the time I didn't know what we could do to raise money what other people wasn't already doing.
Elsie adores to draw and colour and she had to draw animals for her home learning so we looked on YouTube to see if there was a tutorial to follow and that's when we found art for kids hub this man with his kids in America does tutorials where you can draw along and that was it she's hooked drawing about 10 drawings a day.
So we have had a couple of people ask for her to draw some so she said we can make people drawings to make them happy and we can raise money and she has chosen our local zoo.
Our animals matter and they need our help!
The zoo's relie entirely on the income made from admission tickets to Banham Zoo and Africa Alive! Now, the COVID-19 outbreak threatens generations of work as this support has effectively stopped.
As they hope to open beginning of July we want to see if we can help even if it is just a little bit we are doing something and together we can get through this .
Elsie wants to draw pictures for you all I can send them in the post or drop off if local and you donate what you can 😊
