So following in the footsteps of the iconic runner of Ponteland Ieuan Ellis, Carys and I are going to take to the coastal roads of Edinburgh and attempt to complete our first marathon. We are both amateur runners, preferring shouting at our dad from the car windows with Forest Gump abuse. This time however we are lacing up our shoes and preparing for the 26 mile slog.

We are doing this for Meningitis Now a great charity that we feel passionate about supporting. Carys was lucky to have had a speedy recovery after being diagnosed with Meningitis and thus we want to help those who are less fortunate.
