Story
My Story.
In May 2011, I was told that my uncle had a type of Cancer that I was not aware of and that it was a cancer that effected men.
Prostate Cancer is the most common Cancer in men in the UK. 37,000 cases are diagnosed each year. Prostate Cancer is the second most common cause of cancer death in men, with 10,000 deaths every year in the UK.
As a result of being the biggest killing cancer to men, unfortunately my uncle did not make it through the pain and suffering that he went to and it was too late and passed away in May 2011. This has left me questioning is there enough awareness of this type of Cancer and if not 'You' could help donate towards making a difference to change that.
This year, on September 23rd 2012, I will be taking part in the Admiral 10k Run in Swansea. I want to raise as much money as I can to my chosen charity 'Cancer Research UK' as I know, you may know someone that has had Cancer, who passed or way or maybe was strong and beat Cancer.
What ever the reason, you pledging a donation today will make a difference to thousands of families who, like me, have been and seen the worst that cancer can do to the ones you love.
Please help me raise money to beat Cancer and help provide more ways in which to fight off and kill Cancer for good.
Thank you for you time, yours and every donation will count!
