As part of my second year teaching placement at Dundee, we have a module called “Learning from Life”. From this, I have decided to venture abroad and experience a unique placement with the organisation Schoolhouse Abroad.

I will be travelling to Galle in Sri Lanka where I will be teaching in a primary school and also volunteering in children’s homes.

Why Sri Lanka? An opportunity like this does not come around every day! I know that it will be difficult, especially being so far away from family and friends  and also seeing how different life may be over there, but I would very much appreciate it if you could dig deep into your pockets and donate towards my trip- every penny counts!
