This Christmas I am giving the gift of hair to a little child suffering from cancer. I am donating my hair to The Little Princess Trust who make real hair wigs for children who have lost their own hair from cancer treatments. People take their hair for granted, however, the loss of hair, especially in children can be very upsetting and can result in a loss of confidence and feeling even more unwell. Donating your hair can change a child's life for the better.

I will be cutting off around 9 inches of my hair, which is very scary but I know that this will seriously increase a child's quality of life. In addition to donating my hair, I am hoping to raise enough money to fund the making of a wig. Each wig costs approximately £350, and this will ensure that the wigs are free to the children.
