Story

Teesdale and Weardale Search and Mountain Rescue Team (TWSMRT) operates 24 hours per day, 365 days a year. They provide a mountain, search and rescue service for the whole of County Durham, from the high fells in the west to the coastal communities of the North Sea. The Team responds to requests by the Police to a range of incident types, from injured or lost people in the hills to vulnerable missing people in urban settings.

They rely heavily on fundraising to keep doing the fantastic job they are doing, and thats where I come in!

I am going to be canoeing across Scotland from Fort William to Inverness, a distance of just under 95km on the 8-13 June. I will be paddling in a tandem canoe across Loch Oinch, Loch Ness and many more, wild camping, and raising £450 for TWSMRT. Please help by giving what you can!
