Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my page. As many of you know, I have struggled with my weight for many years and I’ve tried countless diets but none have worked for me. I am not getting any younger so being unfit is giving me a few health problems. So, I have decided that 2013 will be a year of great change personally, not just in what I eat but also doing regular exercise, namely in the gym.
The Biggest Loser is a T.V. programme that began in the U.S where contestants battle it out to see who can lose weight and win a cash prize. This is the same premise as there are many other people (including my husband) taking part but instead of winning money, we all will be collecting donations for Grove House Hospice.
This is where you come in. Any money will give us that extra motivation so in essence, the more money you donate to this brilliant cause, the more weight we’ll lose. Having a disabled son means that my family have had first-hand experience of hospice care and know that they rely on charity because the government do not support them.
Please give what you can!
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
