Hello All!

on 21 August i will be walking 10k for the Weldmar Hospice, a local charity in Dorset!!

I hope you can donate even the smallest amount to this amazing cause, as it is a charity that has played a part in my family in the past and made our lives easier as it does for many other families in Dorset!!

My training has been sporadic but only being entered a week before the event i have little time to train, but i hope you can find a place in your heart to donate even the smallest amount , which you can do for up to 3 months after the event!!!

£10- provides essential clinical supplies for one patient for one week

£20- provides an aromatherapy or massage session for a patient to relieve the pain and stress of cancer

£35- provides a visit by an occupational therapist to a patient in their own homes, to make sure they retain as much independence as possible

£50- provides a physiotherapy treatment to help relieve a patient of the symptoms such as breathlessness and pain or rebuild strength and mobility

Weldmar Hospice's provide outstanding palliative care to those living with cancer, but they also provide care for families of patients, making sure that they are coping and providing support.
