We fund life-saving research to help cancer patients everywhere.

Story

On March 24th I will be taking on the London Landmarks Half Marathon, running for The Royal Marsden Charity. I will be running in order to raise money for an amazing charity which raises funds to support the groundbreaking cancer research and treatment the hospital gives. This incredible place has been and is currently treating Ian (my stepdad).

When I run Ian, (who I love more than he loves Burnley Fc and trains) will be almost half way through his chemo treatment. He continues to fight this latest cancer with the same courage and determination as before

Those who know me well, know my love for exercise but running seems to be the sport that eludes me - don’t like it one bit. Operation at the beginning of the year on my hand halted training but a rapid 8 week training plan I am hoping to complete with a smile on my face and with a fully functioning body!

Please sponsor me and give money to an amazing charity which does so much for helping beat cancer.

Up the clarets (for all you Burnley fans/ Ian’s pushed Burnley on)

The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity raises money solely to support The Royal Marsden, a world-leading cancer centre. We ensure our nurses, doctors and research teams can provide the very best care and develop life-saving treatments, which are used across the UK and around the world. From funding state-of-the-art equipment and groundbreaking research, to creating the very best patient environments, we will never stop looking for ways to improve the lives of people affected by cancer.
