My son Toby's best friend Edward is 4 years old. He suffers from Ethlers Danlos Syndrome. This is a rare condition that affects Eddie's connective tissue and means that his joints do not function correctly. He suffers from constant pain in his back, knees and ankles and over time his joints could seize up and he would be unable to walk or use his joints at all. Consultants have recommended that regular ongoing hydrotherapy is paramount to strengthen, protect and relieve pain in his sore joints. 

On July 18th I will be attempting to run 24km up Pan Y Fan, the highest mountain in the Brecon Beacons. This route has long been part of the SAS selection.
