Ella-may is giving her locks away · 28 October 2014

The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or to other conditions. The charity is also one of the largest funders of childhood cancer research in the UK.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My daughter Ella-may has always had more hair than the average since the minute she was born. At 6 months she had a top knot, by 2 years she wore it in bunches and at primary school she had lovely long plaits. She is now 13 and her hair reaches the back of her knees measuring over a metre in length.

Although her hair is very much part of who she is she feels that the time has come to cut it to a more manageable length and would really love for it to be made into a wig for a child who is suffering with hair loss. Ella-may has so much hair that it may even be possible to make more than one wig from it but wig making is a costly process and many children will often need several wigs throughout the course of their cancer treatment. For this reason we are asking if you could kindly donate whatever you can to this very worthy cause.

Ella-may has loved her hair for years, help us give it to someone else to love.
