Yeung Ar Beth is running 10km.... 

For those who don't know me, my name is Elizabeth Yeung. My great grandmother had diabetes; my grandmother is diabetic; my mum said I will be diabetic sooner than her because I don't have health diet nor do much exercises. And to prove she is wrong, as I always do, I am running 10km and fund raising for Diabetes UK. 

As a pharmacist gonna be, I always amazed by how drugs can improve someone's health. But what amazed me even more, is how my grandmum lives a health life under my mum straight supervision diet. My grandmum is 98 now, and she has been a diabetic patient for more than 30 years. 

Managing diabetes may not be as easy as I said, but certainly with care and support, everyone can have a happy health life as everyone else. 

Running in the Great Manchester Run and fund raising for Diabetes UK is only the beginning. I hope I can contribute more when I become a registered pharmacist.
