Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This bike ride will involve a grueling 336Km ride through some challenging mountain terrain.  From Yosemite National Park to San Francisco.

This is my first cycle challenge and I am cycling with a team of Marie Curie fundraisers in October after months of hard training. The team has raised £1000's for Marie Curie Cancer Care nurses and I will be there to encourage them get to the finish line.

My personal story is that my father died of cancer. And if we had known about Marie Curie's free nursing service he woul have been able to stay at home.

Marie Curie Cancer Care provides end of life care to terminally ill patients in their own homes, or in one of their nine hospices.
