Story
In June 2015, I found out that my dad had a very aggressive form of Accute Myloid Leukaemia and he was given 4-6 weeks to live.
Cure Leukaemia started him on a medical trial and after several months he went into remission. Unfortunately for my dad, the leukaemia came back and he sadly passed away in July 2016.
Cure Leukaemia and all of the amazing people connected to this charity gave us another year with my wonderful dad...a year that we never thought we would have.
I'm now taking part in the Birmingham half marathon to raise some money and awareness for Cure Leukaemia and help them help others in the same way they helped dad.
This is a real challenge as I am not a runner, I'm incredibly unfit and I have only 8 weeks to prepare! So, please dig deep and donate to this incredibly worthy cause.
Thank you xxx
