Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Well, we're all signed up to do the Santa Run in Greenwich Park, London, and  hope to raise lots of money for the Motor Neurone Disease Association.  I will be running with my gorgeous husband, David, and my lovely Mum-in-law, Judith - together we are the unstoppable "TEAM BURR".  And yes, we will be running in complete Santa suit and beard!!

The training has started - complete with much complaining and whining from me because the other two are always dots in the distance - but we know that we're doing it for a really good cause.  And as David keeps reminding me "it's only 5K..., but then he would say that...he's the youngest and has the longest legs!

Motor Neurone Disease (MND) is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that attacks the upper and lower motor neurones.  Degeneration of the motor neurones leads to weakness and wasting of muscles, causing increasing loss of mobility in the limbs, and difficulties with speech, swallowing and breathing.

It's a dreadful disease, but the Motor Neurone Disease Association is working hard to beat it.Your money will help to provide the essential services people with MND rely on, and fund research projects to bring hope for a future without the disease.

So please dig deep and donate now.  Get us to the £300 mark (beyond would be even better!!!!!!)

Thank you.
