Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.  I am fundraising for the DEC in general because, while I want to help Ukrainian refugees, I also want the DEC to have funds available to help those afflicted by disasters elsewhere in the world, such as famine in Afghanistan.

I considered doing another sponsored walk, but felt that it was time for a different challenge, mental rather than physical this time.  So, in the time from May to December 2022, I am working my way through as many books in German as I can, armed only with a twenty-five-year-old GCSE in German, and a battered dictionary.  I will keep a journal of my reading on my blog, https://templecloudsomerset.blogspot.com/
