How it works…

Hi, my name is Eliza and I am 9 years old. I have set up a blog at booksforyoungminds.wordpress.com about raising funds for Young Minds charity.  I am trying to raise funds for this charity as I think it is important that we have healthy minds as well as healthy bodies. I think that some children do not know about mental health and may suffer alone in silence as they are too afraid to speak up and might not know how to get help. I believe that every child should have access to support and information about their mental well-being, day or night! I hope by raising the awareness of the Young Minds charity and their website, children and families will learn what it is all about and take an interest in both their own mental well-being and know what to do if they are worried about a friend.

I am trying to raise £500 for Young Minds by selling my books as I love reading, but do not need to keep my books forever and I am running out of space.Please have a look at my blog to see what is currently available. If you go to my school, I can easily take the book in for you. If not, I can arrange to send the book to you via Royal Mail in a SAE

I am also very happy to receive your books to sell for this charity if they are in 'nearly new' condition,and fairly current, even if you have the same book as I have, so I can update the blog to say how many copies I have! Together we can raise even more funds. It would be great if you could give me your book review too, so that I can add it to the reviews page.
