Story
Welcome to my page
My name is Elisabeth Stephan. I am 19 years old girl from Germany who has been living and working as an AuPair in London since August 2012.
I am a very active person and enjoy running, swimming and cycling in my spare time a lot. After having passed my Abitur, the German equivalent to the A-levels, a friend and I took part in a run in the summer of 2012. Because I was really fascinated by it I decided to search for a similar run in London on the Internet. My search led me to the “thebritish10klondon” and started to get more interested in the idea of running for a good course.
As I used to work with children in a kindergarden and an institution which is taking care after school kids with a difficult social background but also dealing with three boys on a daily basis, I was especially looking for an institution supporting children.
Then I visited the website of “The Great Ormon Street Hospital” and already by watching the short introductory video I knew that this was a cause more than worthy to run for.
With your help I am trying to raise money to support the “Great Ormon Street Hospital” and its team to ensure children a hale and hearty life.
Your help matters!
