Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Last August I started working as a junior doctor at Newham University Hospital. My first job was on a Care of the Elderly ward, that specialised in providing ongoing medical care and rehabilitation for those patients that needed to stay in hospital a little bit longer...
The learning curve was steep but I learnt a lot in 2 months from the fantastic team that work on Thistle and I would like to recognise the hard work of these inspiring people by giving a little something back.
All money raised will go directly to Thistle ward, and I am currently talking with the all the staff that work there to find out how the money can best be spent.
Stay tuned for an update on what the money raised will go towards...
UPDATE: All money raised will go to provide pressure care equipment for the patients on Thistle ward. This will really help staff provide the best care they can. Cushions can cost upwards of £100 however so every little bit really will help!
