Angel was born with a hole in her heart. This was discovered at her 3 month check & monitored yearly. When she was 12 we were devastated to be told that Angel would need open heart surgery to close the hole. This was on top of her left kidney only functioning 3%. It was a terrifying time & I did not know how I would cope to be strong enough for Angel, or if she would even survive 

Along with my amazing family & friends the Children’s Heart Surgery Fund supported us through this. I was given a counsellor & they also provide the funding for the family rooms, so that I was able to stay in hospital with Angel. 

I would of crumbled without their support. They were able to give me information & support throughout the year & during surgery & gave her a medal & teddy after. 

This walk is a small gesture for all the amazing work they do for so many families. Thank you to CHSF , Angels surgeon & the whole team. Because of you we can smile again & will always be eternally grateful xxx
