Story
Did you know?
- West Cheshire Bereavement Service offers bereavement support to the whole community of West Cheshire, not just those with a link to the Hospice, including drop-in groups, individual counselling and support, and social media tips and information?
- West Cheshire Bereavement Service is part of the Hospice of the Good Shepherd in Chester, which relies on donations to be able to support the community?
- My job involves sitting down for a living, and definitely not trekking up mountains?
- This is a 10-day trip focusing on walking the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu in Peru; 1000's of steps and miles of stony paths stretching over 43km (26 miles) taking 5 days, at altitudes between 3300m and 4200m.
I was a counsellor at WCBS for 10 years until December 2021 and am so proud to have been part of the work they and the rest of the Hospice of the Good Shepherd do.
Everyone should have the support they need when they are grieving.
So please help them, by helping me raise money.
The fact it also sends me up a mountain thousands of miles away is an added bonus for all involved.

Note: Any money donated will go to the Hospice of the Good Shepherd, which runs the West Cheshire Bereavement Service, and will be distributed where needed within the organisation.
